Epidermolysis Bullosa is a rare skin condition where either one of the binding proteins for the skin (including mucosal membranes) are not being produced correctly, or the immune system attacks these proteins. This leads to the skin being very fragile and tend to blister or peel of very easily. The condition can vary from being very mild (tendency to blister on the soles of the feet) to lethal (fatal within 7 weeks of birth)
