From the International Consensus Recommendations for the Treatment of Pediatric NMDAR Antibody Encephalitis, table 4:

Maintenance (>6 mo) immune suppression:
Rituximab redosing (same doses as above or reduced dose as per local recommendations) when repopulation of CD19 occurs (or about 6 mo after the first course)

Does "redosing" mean "retain the same daily dose, but split it, so that the drug is taken more often in smaller portions"? I found such definition in Wiktionary.

Then why does it say "same doses as above"? This way, the daily dose would increase, wouldn't it?

In this case, redosing means “infuse the same dose of rituximab as the last dose administered or reduced as per local recommendations.” I didn’t read the source, but it’s a maintenance dose. Other than weight adjustment, there’s no need to increase.
