In many basal cell carcinomas (BCC), the histology shows that they coexist more than one BCC subtype. For example, a patient may have 1 skin lesion that is diagnosed as BCC of subtypes superficial+microdular. This makes me wonder: What is the basal cell carcinoma subtype cooccurrence matrix? I.e., given BCC subtype A, what's the likelihood of also having BCC subtype B on the same skin lesion at the same time.
