I am knowledgable about qualia being a subjective experience derived in the mind, although I lack a physiological understanding on how it occurs. I am able to determine that qualia exists in the primary visual cortex¹, despite being unsure by which means sensory memory is made to become sensation or the genesis of qualia.

Probably better on psychology.stackexchange.com but just seems to be yet another instance of the "hard problem" question. – Bryan Krause Sep 18 '19 at 0:09

It does more properly belong on Psychology and Neuroscience, but it will likely be closed as a duplicate there because it's been thoroughly covered. For example, see this question and the related question linked in comments. OP, I would recommend reviewing the questions about qualia on that site and if you don't feel they answer it, reformulating your question to not be a duplicate. It's not off topic here, but doubt it will get much traction. – Carey Gregory Sep 18 '19 at 0:24
