Sep 12, 2018 at 13:55 | comment | added | Narusan | Hi Hi-Angel, Welcome to the site and an interesting question indeed. In line with what ShadowWizard and Jan suggested, I've allowed myself to "slightly" edit your question - the content is still the same, but I believe the wording is a bit more concise this way. Also, I have changed every instance from coffee to caffeine, because you are most likely referring to just this ingredient in coffee, not the whole other (unrelated) stuff. If you disagree, feel free to notify me, edit the question or revert my edit altogether.

Sep 12, 2018 at 12:32 | comment | added | Hi-Angel | @Jan probably good point, I'll edit it out. I was thinking of possibly effects to brain, but it would be biological either, so… whatever.

Sep 12, 2018 at 12:25 | comment | added | Jan | Yes, it is a bit: a mental effect to adrenaline...?? Anyway, I was thinking, if you can formulate an exact question and put it as a summary of what you are asking at the bottom of your post.
Sep 12, 2018 at 12:24 | comment | added | Hi-Angel | @Jan it's in the title, is it unclear?
Sep 12, 2018 at 12:24 | comment | added | Jan | @Hi-Angel, not to be picky, but can you formulate an exact question - I guess it's about the caffeine's effect on adrenaline release?
Sep 12, 2018 at 12:20 | comment | added | Hi-Angel | @ShadowWizard I'll honest, it's hard to edit out the gender in English. I know there's "singular they", but from my experience, surprisingly, it seems to confuse English readers, so I'm unsure if it's worth to use in the question. I mean, question should be clear to everyone.
Sep 12, 2018 at 12:09 | comment | added | Shadow Wizard | Stack Exchange in general try to focus on content and facts, not on people, so the change I suggested will make this appear more "professional". It's not a must, but in my opinion will make the question look better and have greater value in the long range.

Sep 12, 2018 at 12:07 | comment | added | Hi-Angel | @ShadowWizard hmm… I didn't think of it because it's hard to connect this question to someone real (e.g. who knows whom I was talking about at this point of time?) but… maybe it's a good idea anyway, will do in a moment.
Sep 12, 2018 at 12:02 | comment | added | Shadow Wizard | Better make it more "neutral" by editing out the fact she is your girlfriend, or even leaving gender out. I would write something like "I know someone who has agoraphobia and yet drinks very large amounts of coffee when sleepy", followed by the rest of the question which is fine. (I would normally edit myself, but since it's pretty radical change, prefer to just put it on the table)
